Combat Hapkido Tactical Pressure Points Program

For centuries the Martial Arts community has incorporated the art and science of pressure points for fighting and for healing, and Combat Hapkido is no exception.  Integrating the scientific, knowledgeable and wise use of pressure points with our training not only reflects and recognizes our roots in the traditional Korean art but, on a practical level, facilitates the application and enhances the effectiveness of all of our techniques.

Master Mark Gridley, the founder and director of this course of instruction, has named it the “Anatomical Targeting Strategies”  (ATS) program, thus stripping away any mystical or controversial aspects of pressure points.  He presents easy to learn, effective and practical techniques based on verifiable, modern medical science.  This material has also been specifically designed and modified for the Law-enforcement community, called “Anatomical Compliance Tactics” (ACT), that Master Gridley teaches as part of the IPDTI course.

After many years of study with some of the leading pressure point experts in the world, Master Gridley has structured a program that compliments and enhances Combat Hapkido.  He teaches this material in Clinics, Seminars, Instructor Certification courses, Private Classes and in his excellent book and Instructional DVD series.
