Founded in 1997 by Grandmaster Pellegrini, the WMAA is a global organization dedicated to the advancement of all Martial Arts and the professional recognition of all Martial Artist.

• The WMAA is committed to promote, expand, encourage and improve Martial Arts / Self Defense training around the World.
• The WMAA is dedicated to the enhancement of the professional image and standing of all Martial Arts Instructors and practitioners.
• The WMAA encourages and fosters friendship, exchange, networking and cooperation among Martial Arts practitioners of every art / style / system.
• The WMAA strongly believes in the right of all Martial Artist to freely practice and teach their chosen art / style / system and therefore it strongly opposes any government control and regulation of the Martial Arts industry.
WMAA Advisory Council
The WMAA Advisory Council and Executive Board is comprised of World renowned and respected Masters and Grandmasters, representing many traditional Martial Arts as well as modern eclectic systems.
Membership
Membership in the WMAA is open to all Martial Artist. WMAA members receive: Membership Certificate, ID Card and uniform patch.
Lifetime membership dues in the WMAA are $95
Certifications
The WMAA offers its members beautiful and prestigious rank certificates. You will be proud to display and list in your credentials this important recognition of your accomplishments in the Martial Arts. The WMAA does NOT issue new rank or promotions. It is a rank registry. Upon submission of the proper application and documentation, the WMAA will issue a beautiful, high quality certificate of rank in YOUR art / style / system reflecting the rank you already hold. The WMAA offers Dan Certificates (1st through 10th Dan) and different levels of Instructor Certificates (Assistant Instructor through Grandmaster). WMAA rank / Instructor certificates are available only to WMAA members of Black Belt rank and over 18-years old. WMAA rank will be recorded in the WMAA Registry.
Attention Founders!
If you are the Founder (Soke) of your own art / style / system the WMAA will officially recognize it and issue you the appropriate credentials as Founder / Headmaster of your art.
